Chief Technology Officer

Shaan Parekh today serves as the company's Chief Technology Officer, directing the activities of the mobile and wireless practice. Shaan is the individual most closely involved with building the relationships between Point Alliance and partners in the mobile & wireless space, and also plays an integral role in Point Alliance's overall business development and strategic planning.

Shaan has been instrumental in keeping Point Alliance on the leading edge of mobile and wireless technology, working with such partners as Research in Motion, Microsoft, Palm, IBM, HP and Symbol.

Before co-founding Point Alliance, Shaan was with IT leader Cognicase, where he served as a Vice-President of Consulting Services. While at Cognicase, Shaan helped design and develop collaborative and wireless solutions for such industry leading companies as Bank of Montreal, Toronto Dominion Bank, TDL Group (Tim Horton Donuts), Deloitte & Touche, Celestica, Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation, Cadillac Fairview, and Brookfield Properties.
